At the end of last week, the highly anticipated collaboration between Nafe Smallz, M Huncho and “Drip too hard” US rapper Gunna fully took the music scene by storm – and this week the transatlantic trio could be on their way to entering the UK’s Official Top 40’s chart.
The release of Broken Homes has been another monumental move for the UK music scene. Not only opening more overseas doors but also showcasing the talent of two of the UK’s hottest artists right now on a level that will potentially see them charting this week.
Judging by fans responses the link up is not only one which supporters “never knew they needed in their lives”, but some are even labelling the record as “one of the best tracks of 2018”. It’s accompanied by an inspired music video, shot by TeeeezyC, which seamlessly mirrors the dark lyrics of Broken Homes.
What many may not know is that this melodic masterpiece was in fact brought together by newly founded label The Plug Records. It’s the very first track to be released off their forthcoming album Plug Talk, and as this is Gunna’s very first UK x US collab it sets the tone for what we can expect on the album (more foreign link ups we’ve been told) Very exciting times ahead.
