If you haven’t witnessed a PRDN Party so far, then you haven’t experienced London’s best nightlife. Be it Donae’o or Big Tobz, TE dness or Big Zeeks – the special guests which have graced the stage of Ace Hotel’s Miranda at a PRDN showcase are countless, and it’s no exaggeration to claim that it’s a massive shutdown each time.
Last week Thursday the time had finally come for another one, this time with non other than Grime MC Mercston. The artist emerged in the scene all the way back in 2005 and ultimately formed the collective The Movement which includes the likes of Ghetts, Scorcher and Wretch. He has built a major fanbase ever since, released legendary tracks and collaborated with artists such as Chip or Maxsta.
For the brand new music video release for his current banger Flexin‘- which was premiered via GRM Daily and already has over 45k views – he came through to Miranda to celebrate with us, in addition to an exclusive live performance. And it did not disappoint.
With his intoxicating energy, his hypnotic flow and bars for days, Mercston delivered a lively set and had everyone in the room jumping and vibing along. To top it all off, he brought out very special MC’s and rappers such as Maxsta and Suspect which hyped up the anticipated crowd even more, while other special guests who were living their best lives among the audience were Michael Dapaah aka Big Shaq, Ghetts, 67 and radio personality Rebecca Judd.
In summary, it is safe to say that once again it was a hugely successful festivity. Until next time!
