Quality Control, which consists of Kevin “Coach” Lee and Pierre “Pee” Thomas, may have founded the probably most influential Hip Hop Music Label at the moment. What was established in 2013 has now become a major deal with 300 Entertainment, a music company founded by Warner Bros. Soon it became one of the most important indie labels in the scene with a roster of Migos, Rich The Kid or OG Maco.
Taken from their upcoming compilation Control The Streets, VOL 1, which will feature a wide array of the most talked about artists right now, Quality Control recently dropped its lead single Too Hotty. The track is a collaboration with rappers Quavo, Offset and Takeoff, who together form Migos, one of the highest anticipated rap groups these days. Actually Too Hotty was already released back in May but got deleted off Soundcloud again very quickly.
While I’m neither a fan of Migos nor the song itself at all, this new track may be enjoyable for everyone who enjoys listening to easy Hip Hop tracks which lack lyrical effort and rather represent the genre of mumble rap. What does Too Hotty even really mean? But see for yourself and check it out below!
